Meet Dana
Hi there! I’m Dana — a registered dietitian, writer and mom with a serious appetite for eating well. I believe food provides us with so much more than nutrients and the best meal is one enjoyed with family and friends. My hope is that this space helps you to find wholesome solutions that work for your whole family and encourages you to linger a little longer together at your next meal.
As a new mom, I became even more interested in the role food and nutrition play in our lives, not just as nourishment, but how it teaches us and provides for us in so many other ways. While I love the science behind nutrition, I’m equally as fascinated by cooking, discovering where my food comes from and the role food plays in our culture.
As a journalism school graduate and a registered dietitian, I love writing about food and nutrition. To me, words and stories are a powerful way to teach, learn and connect. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, yoga, reading and exploring farmers markets with my family.
